Still Life's are a subject I've studied from life since college. It's a subject I love visiting over and over again. I find so much inspiration in everyday life. This collection celebrates beauty in the mundane.
"I hope for the viewer to be inspired to stop and observe the patterns light creates with everyday objects in everyday life. The abstraction of colors that light creates on a reflective surface is a meditation simply by being in observation mode. The second dimension to this presence is appreciating the transience of the experience. The sun and objects shift, the weather changes which affects every color and the lighting entirely. Anything and everything apart of this moment will grow, die, or move. I personally find an overwhelming gratitude for this ethereal existence, that even small moments like this hold. The is so much beauty and power in small moments."
