This oil painting was created over a month of building layers. When you step back from the painting you see a woman, sitting elegantly with energetic color all around her. As you get close to the painting you see all of the layers of colors and mark making. All of the layering and energy in each mark create a visual experience where you see new things every time you look at it. The paint talks and the medium exists expressing energy and a story. Viewing this painting in person really gives the full experience with color and texture. The fun thing about abstract art is the conversation. Each person can have their own experience and emotions viewing a painting.  I may have my own narrative with this, and you may have yours. But the things I really worked to express in this painting is femininity, confidence, grace, and boldness.
